What is the thickness/gauge of this rail. Is it 11 or 14 (2 answers given above). Also can the rails be cut cleanly? I intend using them for a non-hangrail /non-loadbearing application. I see 2 answers above – can be cut and should not be cut.

Thank you for your inquiry. The metal is a 14 gauge steel and 1/8" thick. The hangrails can be cut. However we do not recommend cutting, as we cannot guarantee the item once altered. Please let us know if we can be of further assistance. Thank you again and have a great day!
