Thank you for your inquiry. The Legs are a T shaped that support the back and front of the panel. We do suggest evenly distributing the weight of your items for the best stability. The legs you see on this unit are the same grid legs that we also sell as a pair separate from the grids. This is if you would like to use a different size panel with the legs than the kit offers.
