You label it as tempered glass but in an answer to another state that it is not heat resistant. Doesn't that mean it isn't truly tempered glass?

Thank you for your inquiry. The tempered glass shelves take about 550 Fahrenheit to make the glass to bend. And it takes about 1300 Fahrenheit to make the glass melt. However the glass is not recommended to come in contact with high heat, and is not heat resistant, these are designed for retail display purposes.
