Thank you for your inquiry! That is correct the Panel Connectors does not fit if there are legs in between the panels, it is better used to connect the panels without the legs. However, I would suggest to try using our SKU# 30300 White Plastic Zip Ties, which is better for connecting the panels with the legs already attached. Please let us know if we may assist you further.
