Thank you for your inquiry. This unit comes with 8 shelves, but the amount of extra shelves that you can put on this unit would depend on how tall the shoes or shoe boxes are. This chrome shoe merchandiser is completely adjustable, allowing the shelves to go flat and providing the option to adjust the height between shelves.
