Hi, is the adhesive on the base durable? How do you recommend I store the items when they're not in use so that the adhesive doesn't get messed up?

Thank you for your inquiry. The adhesive on the base is durable, however this item is not recommended to store after use, the adhesive will get worn out and no longer be usable. Please let us know if you have further questions.
