Thank you for your inquiry regarding the 48"W x 36"H Infinity Extra Vision Showcase - Ready to Assemble (65283). Unfortunately these units are not weight tested. The case is able to be used either with the back or the front toward the customer. The top is strong enough to have small items on top of it. I would not put anything very heavy on it.
