I wold like this shelf to go on the very top of the outrigger.....above the clothes. It would be a shelf that customers would never be able to touch because I want it on the top for display only. Does it attach to the very top?

The shelf is able to sit on top of the outrigger, however we recommend setting up with the Vintage Straight Bar Bracket SKU # 60832 just under the top portion so that the shelf does not potentially fall off the front due to the rounded part of the outrigger.
