what is the depth of the lip on the back? would they fit on a 1/4" dowel? Thank You!

Thank you for your inquiry. The j channel opening at a rest is 1/16" wide. This is able to stretch slightly, however I do not believe it would fit a cylindrical item. Please let us know if you require additional assistance. Thank you again, have a great day!
