Thank you for your inquiry. The Cobblestone A-Frame Chalkboard frame is constructed of powder coated steel while the actual chalkboard itself is comprised of a pressed wood with a chalkboard finish. I would not recommend this item being left out in the rain as it can affect the overall durability of the product.
