Is the foam covered with a fabric and I would be using this in a jewelry box already made can this be cut to fit?

Thank you for your inquiry. The foam has a smooth surface and will not be covered in a fabric. The Foam Ring Pads with 7 Sections can be cut down, however we cannot guarantee the integrity of the product once it has been cut. Please let us know if you require any additional assistance.
