I'd like to know if I can cut notches into the sides to be able to display multiple necklaces at a time. Is this solid wood? Can you send a photo of the back so I'll know if the cuts I want to make will be an issue with how the piece stands? Thank you.

Thank you for your inquiry. This item is a solid wood. Unfortunately we do not have a picture of the back at this time. However if you would like we are able to get you the full measurements of the item. I do want to include that once the item is purchased and is altered we would not be able to take back for a return.
