Slatwall panels can be mounted to drywall by attaching it to studs in the wall with galvanized wood screws. The screws should be spaced evenly between the slats in the panel. If you are applying the slatwall to any other type of surface, you should consult a contractor or visit your local hardware store to find out what the best type of fastener for your application would be.
