I am concerned about the plastic top and visibility over time. Is it scratch resistant? Also, is it just solid wood at the bottom? And, if you were to use the jewelry inserts as you suggest, how much of a gap does it leave on all sides? Thank you (Countertop Display Cases)

Thank you for your inquiry regarding the Portable 24" Wood Countertop Display Cases - Cherry (22107). The plexiglass front is safe and virtually unbreakable. You can clean the plexiglass with furniture polish to help remove any scratches. If you were to use the jewelry inserts. I would recommend using 4 large inserts and 1 small insert to make the most of the room. With this amount of inserts, you would have about a 1" gap on one side of the liners and a little square of space in the corner as well. Please let us know if we can assist further. Thank you!
