Can pots/pans coming directly from stove/oven be placed directly on the tempered glass? Is the glass clear or colored slightly?

Thank you for your inquiry regarding the 12" x 16" x 3_16" Tempered Glass Panels - 67113. Our tempered glass can take up to about 550° Fahrenheit before it will bend. It takes about 1300° Fahrenheit to make the glass melt. Please let us know if we may assist further. Thank you and have a great day!
