Have you figured out the length issue with this yet? I would like to buy this system, but I am concerned with the fact these are 12"and not 18".

Thank you for your inquiry. The Vintage Straight Bar Brackets are 12"long with the actual wall brackets that attach the outrigger being 18"long. The shelving, baskets and other accessories for the Vintage Outrigger System are 12" deep which requires the 12"L brackets. Please let us know if you require any additional assistance.
