can this display be mounted to lay down the long way or does it have to stand erect?

Thank you for your inquiry. The Black Standing Grid Screen cannot be turned onto its side with the legs as the grid at the top and bottom does not have the double edge banding for the legs to attach to. Please let us know if you require any additional assistance. Thank you again, have a great day!
