What is the top made out of? is it glass so light will shine thru the top of the case? Can you attach anything to the back wall like hooks etc to hang frames?

Thank you for your inquiry. The top, front, and sides of the Black 70" Wall Unit Glass Display Case - Metal Framed is constructed of glass. The back panel was designed to have the standards installed for your glass shelving. I believe you could use the standards for hanging other items in the case if you wish, however the standards will be installed into the case prior to arrival at your location.
