Thank you for your inquiry. The glass front and top of the 48" Black Display Case - sku 65651 is constructed of tempered glass. It would shatter into tiny pieces if someone drops a heavy item onto the glass. We do not currently offer any display cases with acrylic tops/fronts in this size.
