can you use the standard slatwall hooks on this unit? 2nd question, can I replace the 48" shelf for 2-24 shelves w/brackets? Last question, can you alter unit so it is one sided (deeper) vs. two sided?

Thank you for your inquiry. The Black Slatwall Gondola Unit can use any of our slatwall accessories. You could change the shelving form 48"L shelves to 24" shelves.
