I want to add the extra bar for hanging double layers. How long would the hanging length of each level be with the extra bar?

Thank you for your inquiry. The additional hang rail can be clamped onto the rack at essentially any height. Dependent upon where the additional hang rail is placed would determine the hanging length for each level. Please let us know if you require any additional assistance.
