Thank you for your inquiry. The showcase and service counter are interchangeable in position in the display set up. The units do not attach to each other for display which would allow you to have them free standing separate from each other if needed. The length of the L shape would be dependent upon the configuration used. Each unit measurements are listed for you below:
Service Counter: 34"H x 18"D x 48"L
Display Case: 38"H x 18"D x 70"L
Corner Shelf: 38"H x 18"D x 18"L
Well Top Register Stand: 38"H x 18"D x 24"L
