Is there storage on the inside? What does it sit how does it rotate if not on casters. Lazy susan?

Thank you for your inquiry. The inside of the unit is empty, but does not include any storage space. The Pegboard Tower spins using a rotating plate that is located underneath the base of the unit. Please let us know if you require any additional assistance. Thank you again, have a great day!
