Thank you for your inquiry. The Hanger Clip measures 3" from top to bottom, the clip itself measures 2" from top to bottom. The Hanger Clip was designed to be used on a 1 1/4" round hang rail. Please let us know if you require any additional assistance. Thank you again, have a great day!
