If using this unit against a wall. Do you have to attach it to the wall for it to be sturdy?

Thank you for your inquiry. The Wall Unit Gondola Units do not have to be anchored to the wall for display. If you are going to be loading the unit to full capacity it would not hurt to anchor the unit if you want the extra security. Please let us know if you require any additional assistance.
