There is no definitive answer for this question. This is why we do not list a weight capacity. A weight that can be supported at the bottom of the panel may change as you go upward on the panel. The panels can support different weights based on where you position the fixtures that you use. Peghooks are meant for small, lightweight items, faceouts and slanted arm faceouts are also mainly used for lightweight merchandise. Wire Grid can support larger items within reason. If you are using shelving, a rule of thumb is 30lbs per bracket used however, you must take into account the weight of the bracket, the shelving used and then subtract that from the total weight. For 24" shelving, two shelf brackets are good but for 48" shelving, we would recommend at least 3 shelf brackets per shelf. Grid and slatwall are meant to be used to display products but not used to display heavy weighted products. They are display pieces only.
