Are the holes on the base supposed to be off-center? Ours don't seem to line up with the pegs from the tower. White Slatwall Tower with Rolling Base Slatwall Fixtures

The two holes on the base are about 10 inches from the edge (on opposite sides of the square base). These are not in alignment with the holes for pegs in the bottom of the tower pieces, which are 6 inches from the edge of each slatwall piece. I don't see a way that this tower can fit into the base as the picture of the finished tower indicates. One-page instructions appear to show a base with centered pegs, but there's no image of the underside of the the slatwall tower to fit onto those pegs.
