Metal inserts cannot be added to these panels. Metal (aluminum) inserts can reinforce slatwall panels however they need to be milled as a custom item. We do offer White, Black and Maple with the metal inserts however, the Paint Ready is not a stock item with the inserts included. We do not have pictures of the back of the panels. We can email additional photos of the back if you like. 30 pounds per point is referring to where the shelf brackets are placed. Each Shelf Bracket can hold up to 30 lbs per bracket. This weight does include the weight of the bracket, the weight of the shelf being used and the product that you being displayed. Slatwall is not meant to be used to display heavyweight product. Metal inserts do allow for additional weight but that also depends on several factors. We don't offer exact weight capacities because we don't know how you will be installing them or what type of product you will be displaying. We don't know where or what type of wall you are adhering them to or what hardware you will use. We have specification sheets that we can also send you if you need additional information.
