Does the double rod wide apart to allow room for clothes to be hung on both sides of the rack? Also, is the height of the rack high enough to hang gowns down straight? Thanks. View answer

I know that the description lists a product depth of 20" but since I'm assuming that's at the bottom; what is the distance between the two upper racks that the cloth actually hang on? In other words what is the spacing between the two upper bars? Thanks View answer
