The sign holder measures 5 1/2" x 7" and it appears the extra 1/2" is at the base. Must you cut the cards to those measurements or is there something to prevent the 5 x 7 inch card from dropping all the way down to the bottom of the base? View answer

Need a solid base sign holder like Raw Steel Countertop Sign Holder. Needs to hold an 81/2" x 11" sign. Would be used outdoors monthly for a few hours. Base needs to be sturdy and sign not too high from the ground so the wind doesn't take it. Suggestions View answer
